soft like thunder
I feel like a thunderstorm on a summer night
When the sky forgets how to carry its light
That cozy feeling wrapped in a blanket
While thunder whispers secrets and I silently thank it
For letting me cry without being heard,
For soaking the silence, word by word
Lightning flickers like thoughts in my head,
Brief and bright, then gone, unsaid
The world holds its breath, and so do I,
Safe in the hush where teardrops lie
Not sadness, not joy, just something between,
Like the pause in the storm where the air feels clean
