victim mentality

The world has wronged you, time and again,

they're all the villains, though once were friends.

You hide behind gossip and live to complain,

just looking for someone to share in your pain.

You never apologize, never see—

how your actions lead to your misery.

You never take the blame or look within

it’s always someone else’s fault you’re in.

But victims never drop their thrones,

or claim the weight is theirs alone.

So wear the crown, adjust the veil, and spin yourself another tale.

Suggestions are given, but all fall flat,

there’s always something wrong with that.

The problem stays, not to be solved

for who would they be if it was resolved?
